Explorers 7-9

Campers explore their faith like the early Christians did—as a community! The main focus of this camp is helping the Explorers learn to work together and care for others and all of God’s creation. This is done through large group games, worship and activities (such as longer hikes and cooking meals together outdoors), small group devotion time, plus a service project and overnight camping and canoeing trip. Campers stay in Explorer Village.

Camper's Choice 7-12

Here's the chance for campers to take charge of their camp experience. This half-week journey gives options for a new adventure at each turn. Which do you enjoy more, games or a hike? Crafts or creek-splashing? Share in the family-style meals and modern amenities, and choose your own activities at Camper's Choice.

Outbacks 9-12

The name of the game for Outbacks is variety.  Amidst their travels, this group will share new experiences, stay in interesting places, and dive deep into faith on an epic hiking road trip.

Foresters 9-12

For the first time, high school campers make new memories and take on new adventures in a week-long program, right here at Good Earth Village.  New autonomy and group-building combines with beloved pieces from Pioneer and Explorer programs.

Staff-in-Training 10-12

The Staff In Training (SIT) program is a great way for high school campers to branch out into the world of camp and discover ways that they can become a Christian leader. High schoolers will experience two weeks of learning all they need to know about what it takes to be a counselor at Good Earth Village. Then, they will be invited back for another two weeks to put their skills to the test and counsel alongside a GEV Summer Staff. SITs will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of campers, learn how to communicate effectively, experience the ins and outs of camp, and spend time bonding with their counselors and fellow SITs. Whether you need a place to develop your leadership skills, some space to explore your faith in a Christian community, or are looking for opportunities to volunteer over the summer, the SIT program is for you. It's the perfect addition to any college application, and you get to experience four weeks of camp for the price of one!
