This Giving Tuesday, you have a special opportunity to multiply your impact for campers like Kaia.
Good Earth Village was selected as the Thrivent Giving Day partner for 2025. That means that gifts made via the Thrivent Giving Day link on Tuesday, December 2, or given at one of our Giving Tuesday events, will count toward a 2:1 match and help us unlock an additional $20,000 from Thrivent.
Our goal is to raise $40,000 on Giving Tuesday. When we reach that goal, Thrivent will add $20,000 more, strengthening the mission of Good Earth Village for the campers, families, and churches we serve.

Kaia’s Story
Good Earth Village is more than a place to play outside. It is a community where young people discover that they are deeply loved, capable, and not alone.
One camper, Kaia, shared that she had had a very difficult school year. Every day, other kids were belittling her and being mean "because of how I look." She was discouraged and hurting. Things were so hard that her mom wondered if sending Kaia to camp was the right decision.
Kaia did come to Good Earth Village. She told us that she felt at home immediately. The girls in her cabin felt like friends she had known her "whole life," and she experienced a community that saw her for who she truly is.
Because of camp, Kaia says she is having "a great first year of middle school."
At Good Earth Village, Kaia renewed her faith and discovered that, as a beloved child of God, she has value beyond measure.

How the Thrivent Giving Day Match Works
To be sure your gift counts toward the match, please note the following:

Gifts must be made on Giving Tuesday to count toward the Thrivent Giving Day total. -
Use the Thrivent Giving Day link or give at an event
Only gifts received via the Thrivent Giving Day link (shared separately) or given in person at a designated Giving Tuesday event will be matched. -
Help us reach $40,000 to unlock $20,000 more
Every dollar given through Thrivent on December 2 moves us closer to releasing an additional $20,000 in support from Thrivent.
Together, we can not only meet this goal but exceed it, so that more children, youth, and families can experience the hope and joy of Good Earth Village.
Ways to Participate
1. Give Online Through Thrivent
Use the Thrivent Giving Day link on Tuesday, December 2, to make your secure online gift. Your generosity will go directly toward our $40,000 goal and the $20,000 match.
2. Attend a Giving Tuesday Event
You can also give at one of our in-person Giving Tuesday events. Gifts made at these events on December 2 will count toward the match as well.
3. Invite Others to Join You
Share the Thrivent Giving Day link with friends, family, and your congregation. A personal invitation goes a long way. Together, your community can help Good Earth Village reach and exceed the Giving Tuesday goal.
