Get Ready to Play with Purpose
Sportsastic Camp is where fun meets faith. Through teamwork, sportsmanship, and spiritual growth, kids learn to play hard, lift each other up, and discover the joy of becoming the best version of themselves, on and off the field or court. This energetic week at Good Earth Village brings together sports, teamwork, and Christian community—helping campers develop skills in Volleyball and Soccer, grow in confidence, discipline, and friendship while keeping Christ at the center of it all.
Campers of all skill levels are welcome. Whether you’re an athlete or just want to have fun outdoors, you’ll find a place to learn, laugh, and play.
What to Expect
Each day at Sportstastic Camp is packed with activity, encouragement, and opportunities to grow physically and spiritually. Campers will travel to a local gym or field to practice and grow their skills in volleyball or soccer. Once at the gym, campers will split into groups based on their chosen sport and receive guided instruction focused on teamwork, technique, and fun.
Program Highlights:
- Develop skills in Volleyball and Soccer
- Focus on teamwork, leadership, and fair play
- Devotions and Bible studies connecting faith to daily activities
- Campfire worship and reflection time each evening
- Swimming, hiking, and outdoor fun across GEV’s scenic campus
- Time for rest, laughter, and new friendships
Where Faith and Teamwork Meet
At Sportstastic Camp, competition takes a backseat to community. Campers learn what it means to support one another, celebrate success, and grow stronger—both as teammates and as followers of Christ. It’s not about being the best on the field; it’s about discovering your best self through faith and play.
Program Goals
-
Grow in Faith & Friendship - Campers explore who they are, who they want to become, and how their faith guides that journey.
-
Build Strength & Resilience - Through new experiences, sports, and outdoor adventures, campers develop grit, confidence, and teamwork, skills that last far beyond camp.
-
Experience God in Creation - Time away from technology and immersed in nature restores minds, hearts, and souls while deepening connection with God and one another.

Meet Our Camp Coach
Hans Dahl
My name is Hans Dahl, and I have been a soccer fanatic my whole life! I played soccer for 15 years before I was unfortunately sidelined due to an injury. The majority of my club career was spent at Madison 56ers soccer club, as well as a short tenure playing in Spain for Granada FC’s youth academy teams. I also played futsal for Forge Futsal Academy out of Madison, WI, for multiple years.
After an injury, I transitioned to coaching, where I have helped coach the U11 and U12 boys A travel teams for 3 years. I have also coached for Showtime Soccer Series out of Oregon, WI. There, I worked with players ranging from 6 to 15 years of age. I hold a US Soccer grassroots license and SafeSport certification.
