Join us for a hands-on day of caring for the land at Good Earth Village. Individuals, families, and groups are invited to roll up their sleeves, enjoy the outdoors, and help steward this beautiful place.
What You’ll Be Doing
We’ll match projects to your interest and ability. Tasks may include:
- Cutting invasive species (buckthorn and Tartarian honeysuckle)
- Collecting native seeds in the prairies
- Trail maintenance (walking trails, removing logs and fallen branches)
- Removing dead hazard trees
- Cutting and splitting firewood
What to Bring (if you have them)
- Work gloves
- Loppers
- Chainsaw
We’ll provide direction, safety guidance, and a welcoming community. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to help.
